So my wife’s hard drive started having the “infamous” clicking noise a couple weeks ago. I say “infamous” because I’ve bought about 7 IBM Hitachi hard drives over the last seven years and EVERY SINGLE ONE has gone bad, with the same clicking noise.  You can use the Hitachi drive repair tool to fix it (I believe it just writes zero’s to the drive) but you lose all your data… Continue reading

We went to the Central Florida Zoo on Saturday up in Sanford. While the park has grown quite a bit since the last time we were there about a year ago, it still is a pretty small zoo. So I got this PlayStation 2 game called VeggieTales – LarryBoy versus the Bad Apple since the boys are all into VeggieTales. Basically if you know anything about VeggieTales you’ll know that LarryBoy is Larry the cucumber’s “hero” personality – in which he protects a fictional city. So I’m watching this anime called Sola now.  It’s ok I guess – nothing special.  It’s about a guy who finds this girl who only for some reason only seems to be around at night.  He later comes to find out that she’s a being called a ‘Yaka’ or something like a spirit.  If her skin touches the light of day it begins to burn.  So anyways they wind up Continue reading

So first off we took the boys to a Thomas the Tank Engine “Party” at the Toys R’ Us today.   Nothing big really – just the normal train table they normally have and then some additional tables with some crayons and some Thomas trading cards (I didn’t even know they had some things – but whatever).
